London has an extraordinary density and diversity of museums, archives and libraries.

Nearly a third of all UK archives can be found in London, together with over 250 museums and 1,500 libraries.

London is also home to national organisations including the British Library, The National Archives and national museums such as the V&A, the Tate and the Natural History Museum.

CASE STUDIES

London's museums, archives and libraries are carrying out groundbreaking work in areas such as social inclusion, the use of ICT and partnership working.

MLA London is building up a resource of case studies highlighting some of this work. The case studies available on this website are searchable by theme. There is also a facility for practitioners to submit case studies for future inclusion on the site.
